Lord Jesus Gospel Ministries

Lord Jesus Gospel Ministries is a church-planting and gospel ministry dedicated to serving the Lord Jesus Christ by reaching out to the needy, neglected, and unsaved in India. Our mission is to bring the lost to Jesus and to uplift and support those who already believe in Him. Approved and registered by the Indian government, our ministry holds registration number 295/2009.

Our Story

Founded by Madhavi Latha & Pastor J.V.J. Mukherjee, Lord Jesus Gospel Ministry traces its origins back to 2001. he was born on August 9, 1964, Pastor Mukherjee grew up in a devout Catholic family. He completed his studies in B.Sc. and B.Ed. by 1989, as well as a PGDCP diploma. Pastor Mukherjee had a career with Life Insurance Corporation of India, but in 1996, after his spiritual rebirth, he felt a calling to serve God after receiving a powerful message from the Book of John 14:6—"I am the way, the life, and the truth."

With his wife Madhavi Latha and two sons, Akash Manipretham mukherjee and Ashish keerthipretham mukerjee, he embarked on a journey to preach the gospel in India, establishing churches and providing support to tribal communities in remote areas like Bojjukuppa, Narayanaraopeta, Bandirevu, and Lakshmipuram. God has blessed Pastor Mukherjee with a strong network of 20 co-workers and many church partners to continue this mission.

We exist to plant churches and reach out to neglected and unreached people in India. Our programs support this vision, providing spiritual guidance and practical help to the neediest groups.

Inspired by the teachings of Mathew 9:35 :

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

1. Evangelism Among Needy People Groups (Romans 15:20)

In Andhra Pradesh, 18,000 villages have never heard the name of Jesus. Specific tribal groups, including the Chenchu, Koya, Gondi, Soura, Valmiki, Kodu, Sugali, Yerukula, and Yanadi people, remain unreached. Lord Jesus Gospel Ministries is committed to taking the gospel to these neglected groups in strategic locations.

2. Establishing Local Churches (Matthew 28:19)

Our mission includes creating strong local churches staffed by native leaders. We aim to teach and uphold Christ’s teachings, encouraging every believer to witness and share the gospel. These churches receive theological support to deepen their faith and purpose.

3. Preparing Faithful Men
(2 Timothy 2:2)

We not only plant churches but also equip local believers to take on roles in education and evangelism, creating a sustainable local resource within each church to meet the needs of their communities.

4. Community Development Through the Local Church

Our ministry provides support to the poor and disadvantaged, regardless of religion or caste, by offering food, medical help, and resources for education and social welfare.

Our Ministries

Church Meetings and Retreats
We organize revival meetings, retreats, and prayer gatherings to strengthen believers. Conventions and seminars also allow us to reach specific groups in partnership with local churches.

Gospel Programs
We encourage local churches to send teams to areas with no gospel presence. Programs include personal evangelism, mass outreach, door-to-door visits, street meetings, and literature distribution.

Training
Our training equips local workers with theological knowledge, Christian leadership skills, and the tools needed for effective, spirit-led ministry.

Publishing
We distribute Bible study materials and gospel tracts and make Bibles and other Christian literature available to as many people as possible.

Media Outreach
Through CDs, VCDs, and films, we share gospel messages and spiritual songs, reaching even the most remote areas.

Community Care and Bore Well Projects
In areas where clean drinking water is scarce, our bore well projects help entire villages access safe water. So far, we have drilled over five wells in needy areas and helping these people to get government schemes, awareness creation programs.

Medical Camps
In places with limited medical services, we conduct free medical camps and support orphaned children, pioneer missionaries, and relief work during natural disasters.
