The Hard Journey Begins
The next morning, Pastor Mukherjee packed a small bag with the essentials, preparing for a journey into the unknown. As he walked away from his home, he felt the weight of uncertainty, yet he reminded himself of God’s command. The journey was long and filled with challenges. Each night, he prayed for courage, and each morning, he rose with renewed strength, determined to continue.
Along the way, people mocked him, laughing and calling him foolish for leaving his life behind. Their words hurt him, but he remembered the voice he’d heard in the quiet of that night, and he held his head high.
Each step, he grew stronger in faith, knowing he was never truly alone. God was with him.
The Mission Begins
Finally, after many days of journeying through difficult terrain, Pastor Mukherjee reached the remote area where God had led him. This was a place deep in the forest, far from any towns or cities, with no proper transportation or communication. The people lived in isolation, with limited access to healthcare, no nearby hospitals, and scarce resources. Despite these challenges, they went about their daily lives, unaware of the message Pastor Mukherjee carried.
He didn’t know if they would listen, but he let nothing hold him back. With a heart full of faith, he began to share the message of God’s love and kindness with everyone he met. At first, many ignored him, and some even laughed. But Pastor Mukherjee’s faith was unshakeable. He knew his mission was not about instant success; it was about planting seeds of faith in people's hearts.
Slowly, something remarkable began to happen. More people gathered to listen to him, curious and touched by his words. They saw the truth in his eyes and felt the sincerity in his voice. Day by day, hearts softened, and people began turning toward God, finding new hope and faith in His love, even in this distant, forgotten place.
A Powerful Vision
In 2001, Pastor Mukherjee had a vision that changed his life. In this vision, he found himself in a deep forest. Suddenly, a man eater appeared, pointing a weapon at him. He climbed a large tree, but out of fear, he came down when the man demanded. The man then grabbed him and dragged him through the forest to a row of three huts.
The man led him to the first hut but said nothing, and then to the second without a word. Finally, at the third hut, the man said, Do you know the scriptures that say, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me ?”
Pastor Mukherjee recognized the verse from the John Gospel of bible, but he couldn’t remember the exact verse. The man then pushed him into the last hut, saying, “Go and read the Bible” He closed the door, leaving Pastor Mukherjee alone. At evening 6pm, the man returned and called him out by his Name. Three people dressed in white were waiting. They handed him white clothes and led him to a beautiful open field with green grass and palm trees.
Before him two thousand people were sitting infront, all waiting to hear his words. The man in white ordered him to preach to the crowd. At that moment, Pastor Mukherjee woke up, realizing it had been a vision. From that day on, he began studying the Bible more deeply, starting with the Gospel of John, and dedicated himself to spread God’s word in remote areas among tribal communities.
Pastor’s Testimony
Pastor Mukherjee realized that this was God’s purpose for him - a divine vision and mission that shaped his life. He understood that God had called him to fulfill this purpose, leading him to serve among tribal communities and bring God’s word to places where it had never reached before. This journey has become his testimony, a powerful reminder of faith, courage, and the strength found in answering God’s call.
“Please keep us in your prayers & blessings,” Pastor Mukherjee asks, “for the strength and guidance to continue this work for God’s glory.”
